Trump’s First Anti-Hillary Commercial for General Election is a Doozy [WATCH]

In what will surely be the first of many commercials to be launched in the run up to the election, Donald Trump has released his first commercial making the case against Hillary, and for a Trump Presidency.

According to The Blaze:

According to a press release from the campaign, it will spend $4.8 million to air the ad over the next 10 days in four battleground states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida.

The ad seeks to draw contrast between Trump and his rival Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on the issues of national security and illegal immigration. It contends that, “in Hillary Clinton’s America” Syrian refugees “flood in” and immigrants in the country illegally “convicted of committing crimes get to stay.” The ad then claims that “Donald Trump’s America is secure” because “terrorists and dangerous criminals” will be “kept out.”

The ad’s release followed Trump’s admission that he regrets some of the statements he has made on the campaign trail.

“Sometimes, in the heat of the debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing,” Trump said Thursday night during remarks in Charlotte, North Carolina. “I have done that, and I regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain.”

Brian Fallon, Clinton’s press secretary, tweeted that the ad calls into question Trump’s admission.

It’s sure to be the first of many back-and-forth commercials attacking each other as voters decide whether to bet on the known corruption of a Hillary, or the unapologetic successful business man.

While this first salvo scored for Trump, it’s still a couple months from the election and no doubt Hillary has a few negative ads to run.
