Public School Teacher Calls for Reinstatement of Horrible Policy that Ended in 1964
Just a few days ago, a McKinney police officer named Eric Casebolt went ballistic on some teens at a pool party. It was all captured on video.
In case you missed it, you can see the raw footage here:
After the incident, McKinney Police Chief Greg Conley condemned Casebolt’s actions as “indefensible” and “out of control.” Casebolt has since resigned.
Of course, opinions about Casebolt’s actions remain divided with some supporting Casebolt and others supporting the teens.
One public school teacher, Karen Fitzgibbons, took to Facebook to express her opinion, even going so far as to suggest reinstating segregation, a policy that was done away with in 1964. See for yourself (full text below image):
This makes me ANGRY! The officer should not have had to resign. I’m just going to go ahead and say it… The blacks are the ones causing the problems and this “racial tension.” I guess that’s what happens when you flunk out of school and have no education. I’m sure their parents are just as guilty for not knowing what their kids are doing; or knew it and didn’t care. I’m almost to the point of wanting them all segregated on one side of town so they can hurt each other and leave the innocent people alone. Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something. Now, let the bashing of my true and honest opinion begin… GO! #imnotracist #imsickofthemcausingtrouble #itwasagatedcommunity
Although nine people “liked” her Facebook rant, many people, including her employer, found it shocking and offensive that a public school teacher would call for segregation.
Fitzgibbons has now been fired from her teaching position:
