See Trump’s Classic Response to Joe Biden Challenge

When Joe Biden threatened to take Donald Trump behind the gym for apparently beating him up, there was no outrage in the press for insinuating violence, it was treat as comical and harmless. However, Donald Trump was having none of it, and had his own response ready for “Uncle Joe.”

“Did you see where Biden wants to take me to the back of the barn — me,” Trump said. “I’d love that. I’d love that! Mr. Tough Guy. You know, he’s Mr. Tough Guy. You know when he’s Mr. Tough Guy? When he’s standing behind a microphone by himself — that’s when. He wants to bring me to the back of the barn.”

“Some things in life you could really love doing,” he continued. “And, by the way, if I said that, they’d say, ‘He’s violent. How could he have done that?’”

Biden, campaigning at the time for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, made the initial suggestion in response to recent allegations from multiple women who claim to be victims of Trump’s unwanted sexual advances.

“What he said he did and does is a textbook definition of sexual assault … [Trump] said, ‘Because I’m famous, because I’m a star, because I’m a billionaire, I can do things other people can’t,” the vice president said. “What a disgusting assertion for anyone to make!”

Trump is right that if he had said that, he’d be accused of inciting violence, of being a violent person and ridiculed in the press. It’s not a stretch to see talking heads around a table on Sunday morning discussing Trump’s prone to violence and being unfit for office.

But, when stumbling Joe says it, eyeballs are on Trump for his response, not on the VP for his comments.
