Dove’s New Father’s Day Ad Pushes LGBT Agenda

Dove Father's Day Commercial

The push to normalize homosexual behavior is now so pervasive that even soap companies want you to celebrate same-sex couples on Father’s Day.

The pro-homosexual LGBT website HRC.org writes this:

In honor of Father’s Day and their #RealStrength campaign, Dove has released a new ad featuring a same-sex couple.

“This Father’s Day, our new Dove Men+Care film celebrates men from the very first moment they find out they are going to be a dad,” Dove explained. “Why? Because we know that showing care is a sign of a man’s real strength.”

The couple is one of 13 celebrating fatherhood in the new ad titled, “First Fatherhood Moments.”

According to NewNowNext.com, the couple featured is Ian and Darryl Colvin and the footage is from the documentary “Conceiving Family.”

Unilever, which owns Dove, received a 100 on HRC Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to LGBT employees.

This Father’s Day, HRC is proud to celebrate all dads out there who have joined in the fight for LGBT equality. While some households celebrate two dads and others celebrate one, Father’s Day is a time to recognize the impact parents can have on their household and communities.

You can watch the ad for yourself here:

Overall, the ad is a heartwarming tribute to dads. But the inclusion of a homosexual couple puts a liberal slant on this otherwise “clean” ad.

How do you feel about it? Will Dove be the next company Franklin Graham boycotts? Leave a comment with your thoughts below.

  • Blakely1

Oh, Oh, my daughters use Dove all the time. They won’t after I show them this.

    • jscottm1

There are a lot of products we can use that Dove does not make, time to switch brands folks. Tell Dove to Fuck Off

      • Mike G

I use Dove, but I’m going to switch.

  • Eponymous1

No wonder everyone thinks this 1.6 percent constituency for certain aberrant appetites is more like a quarter of the population. The’re represented in about half of all TV and movie representations.

    • Midnite Rider

Please get rid of that picture you have its sickening!

      • MikeInMaine

Please stop telling other people what to do. I’m sure that Eponymous1 is well aware that the picture is sickening, and uses it for its’ highlighting of an egomaniac. Wake up.

        • Midnite Rider

I wasn’t telling him what to do I was just suggesting.

    • Gene

I up-voted Midnite, not because I think you need to get rid of the picture, but to agreed that IT is sickening.

    • Dita Logos

They are pushing so hard because it’s not working. We aren’t changing so they push more. These “polls” are wrong.

      • larry harvey

Dita–Don’t you wish the polls were wrong. Wishing and denying will NOT make it so!

        • Dita Logos

That’s what I keep telling you people. You keep denying that most people don’t agree with you. Gays proclaim to be born that way because if you know NO ONE will choose it (gays say this too).
No one will choose to be in practice of it. Few are in support of it. It is not healthy.
The one thing I will admit is this, Christians should preach against ALL sexual immorality not just homosexuality. Not doing so led us here.

          • larry harvey

Dita –I am an older, retired professional person who is very healthy for his age and so are most of my older gay friends, those who are not, suffer from the ailments of old age not sexual diseases. We are not promiscuous. Because some young gays (and also some straights) are, you project this to all gays which is not accurate. There some gays who never have sex. Being gay pertains to one’s sexual orientation, not to sex acts.

Where I live (Seattle area) in my immediate neighborhood, in my city and in my state just about everyone is friendly to gays. The coming pride parade is very big and will draw tens of thousands of people, most of whom will not be gay. Almost every politician in our state including our governor, our 2 senators, and most of our Congressmen are friendly to gays. The mayor of Seattle is openly gay. He will be at the parade with his same sex spouse.
Seattle has its own gay newspaper (as do most major cities) which because of Pride Week is very thick. There are many non-profit and social clubs which serve the needs of our community. The local Baptist church is extremely accepting. We have organizations which help homeless gay youths, some of whom have been abandoned and thrown on the street by their so called “Christian” parents. Yes, we have much to be proud and happy about. We have come a long way and our march will continue.

          • Dita Logos

On one hand, gays point to the number of people at gay parades to signify how many there are of them. On the other hand, gays point to how FEW of them at the parades to signify how many non gays support them.
On one hand gays state that HIV/AIDS is a problem in their community

          • larry harvey

Dita–Many many gays go to pride parades after all it is their parade. In any large city where you have turnouts of thousands and tens of thousands, because gays are only a minority, the majority of these people will be straight.
Although some gays have HIV and it still is a very problem, worldwide over 90% of AIDS cases are heterosexual.
Polls are polls and you cannot duck their results. These polls consistently show a growing number of people now a 62% majority favor gay rights and among the young it is much larger.
Gays who are being bashed and vilified can be expected to speak out against their tormentors.
As to HRC, I am a member of that organization. It welcomes all who wish to belong. It fights for gays no matter what the color of their skin.
On the subject of transsexual people, yes there is confusion. This issue is new and most people have little knowledge of what it means to be a transgendered person . Education and understanding is needed. But in the end I am convinced life will improve for these abused and bullied people.
As to the norm, if my life is happy and fulfilling, as it is, then to me that IS the norm. That is all I expect and that is all I want. We are not all the same and we should not try to fit in someone else’s narrow pattern.

          • Dita Logos

The reason why there is a large number of heterosexuals with HIV/AIDS is due to Men having sex with Men ALSO having sex with women. It is the reason why MSM can not give blood for at least a year of celibacy. I’m not making that up out of the air. Additionally, the finding of these “polls” don’t reflect anywhere but on the polls and media. Gallup and Pew mainly both whose credibility has been questionable in the past and continues to be questioned. Any other “poll” is funded by or derived by homosexual organizations.
If the masses are so accepting, why do parents of school children whose districts plan to implement gay curriculum show up in large numbers FIERCLY opposing it? With 344 million people in the country, why aren’t the ratings of tv shows that press the LGBT agenda higher? Why are the careers of actors who come out gay finished and or seriously damaged once they “come out?” Why aren’t the careers of gay musicians as successful as those who are not if the majority of people accept it? Why do LGBT organizations say they still have to fight if the majority are with it? No, your polls mislead you all. Most people are not with you. I have seen how people react when they see gay people. I see their faces. I see it and others do too. We live in the real world. Mass acceptance is unrealistic. Just ask the blacks. Ask the Jews. Ask the muslims. Ask the disabled. Ask the Christians. It is the world we live in.

          • Gene Hull

You need to get a life Dita.
Larry Harvey wrote a very calm, non-confrontational email expressing his opinions.
You responded with what I view as nothing but an attack. I think your response reflects quite negatively on the Christian community you so often suggest is so full of love.
Like Larry, I am an elderly gentleman (83). Unlike Larry I am totally straight.
I have had a very large number of close friends who were gay over the years. It has been my experience that the LGBT community has been more friendly, more thoughtful, with a moral code I view as superior to the general population.

I especially find their moral code superior to the dogmatic born again Christians who insist on spewing their vile contempt for those with whom they disagree.

          • Dita Logos

Please, stop with that “reflects negatively on Christianity” bit. Any one in support of homosexuality does NOT like nor agree with Christianity. The Bible IS homosexuality’s enemy because of Genesis 18 and 19, Leviticus, and Romans 1 and those are NOT all the scriptures. The scriptures are CLEAR on that.
Additionally, stating the TRUTH is not an attack. You all never respond TO the death rate, the suicide rate, the rate in which gays get HIV/AIDS, the fact that the CDC–which is secular, supports that homosexuals blood giving is unwise to the point one has to be celibate for an ENTIRE YEAR to give blood.
Why is pointing that REALITY out hateful? It is TRUE. Why lie?
You know gays are not known for monogamy. They know it too. THEY are the ones who told US. Please. Just stop lying. Stop lying.

  • LARRY JOHNSON

1.5% of US population controlling WH – you don’t suppose Obama is an lbgt or pervert do you?

    • jscottm1

Not only yes but HELL YES he’s a damned inbred homo

    • Skyknight2

Yes Obama is a butt pirate. Actually a better description is “Homosexual, Communist, Muslim”. He had three of his gay boyfriends murdered prior to running for the Senate to keep them quiet. Recently one of his class mates from Hawaii said she knew about him turning gay tricks on the beaches to pay for drugs.

      • Jarhead

He is so “GAY” he still thinks Peter Pan is a wash basin in his favorite Chicago Gay Bath House.

        • Skyknight2

So how has America come to this point of degradation? Two tours USMC hunting down and killing Commies and now we have one as President. I fear brother we will need to band together and take up our old profession. I see civil war coming to the US soon. Semper Fi

          • Mike G

Semper Fi Sky, I see it coming too, I have a great M1 Garand just like I had in the early 50’s, I’m a lot older now but I go to the rifle range a lot, and still a sharpshooter.

      • larry harvey

Skyknight do you have any more fiction to write? Muslims are even more homophobic than the people on this board and they have always been anti-communist. Remember the Russian-Afghanistan war? One cannot be gay, communist and Moslem at the same time. Your rants are so absurd as to be comical.

        • Skyknight2

Sadly it is true and it is not that hard to find. I have the video of Obama giving a speech when he was still a Senator claiming that he was born a Muslim and will always be a Muslim. All you need to do is go ask those that hang around the gay bath houses in Chicago to confirm him being gay.
This means he is an abomination to both religions. I suggest you educate yourself about the scum you voted for.

    • Swann75

Yes, Obama is a closet queer. He was even seen with his buddy, the Mayor of Chicago, exiting a queer bar in Chicago.

      • sandraleesmith46

WHAT “closet”??? He FLAUNTS it, and so does Mooch!

      • larry harvey

Do you guys really believe the nonsense you spout? I think you just like to bash Obama and couldn’t care less whether the stupid things you say about him are true.

    • 63Marine

OH!! More than that….Mooshell, AKA Chewbacca ain’t no female, She/he is the first queen. Check out Michael LaVaughn Robinson. Also, the 2 girls were adopted. Neither one’s DNA matches either obutthole or chewbacca.

      • Terry Murphy

Dove is owned by Unilever, a MAJOR international corporation. Google them to see the vast list of brands they own. Keep in mind, globalist corporations are also usually social uber-liberals. It takes a LOT of negative feedback to get their attention, much less to get them to change anything. You cannot simply take Dove products off your shopping list and expect to get their attention. You have to LET THEM KNOW you are doing so, and why. Mind you, they still couldn’t care less what you think or do, butat least they’ll be aware of a tiny backlash.

      • Mike G

lots of Marines here, Semper Fi guys. After being out for 61 years, I’m still a Marine, just not on active duty

    • sandraleesmith46

Bathhouse Barry? Didn’t come by that nickname for nothing?

  • Dawn Heidi Walters

How sick is our country becoming? So disgusting ………….

    • beowulf32
    • larry harvey

That is right, There is nothing more sick and disgusting than hate and intolerance. Does it make homophobes feel more superior when they have someone to bash?

      • Mike G

go back in your closet Larry, don’t push your crap on normal people, otherwise it is ok for you to be around.

        • larry harvey

Mike-Are you afraid to answer my question? The day is rapidly approaching when it will be the homophobes who will be taking to the closets!

          • MikeInMaine

No it isn’t, you friggin’ dumb clown tool. I answered your ridiculous, false premise above. And I’ll one-up you: You IDIOTS only “think” that you are superior every time you intentionally attempt to belittle those of us who disagree with your wack-a-doodle beliefs. You retards think that macro evolution is a real, and that man-made global-warming is factual. Those are just two things that are fruit-bat crazy, and I can prove it. And the average person is quite dumb; and they go along with the herd mentality.

BTW, you idiot a$$clown; I have known many gay people, and as with everyone I’ve ever met; I treated them fabulously – as well as I’d treat anyone, gay or straight. BUT that doesn’t mean that I have to agree with their life style. The militant gay activists mean to shove that stuff down our throats. THAT right there is a glaring example of intolerance. You have absolutely no respect for us. (which is why I instantly bash you; in RESPONSE to your obvious lack of respect, and your RELENTLESS ATTACKING (trolling) us for our beliefs) If you retards had any intellect at all you would understand this. You have no right to DEMAND that we agree with your sick and twisted ideologies. We believe in living and letting live. Too bad that you nut-balls cannot do the same. I believe very staunchly in FREEDOM/ LIBERTY. You wing-nuts do not. You people are extremely intolerant fascists. You want an oligarchy, where we limited government constitutional conservatives mean (conservation means) to PRESERVE all that has been good – and which has brought us to being the greatest nation in the world’s history. You progressives want to tear it to shreds. BUT the only way that your masters can make any headway in the debate (ANY of the ideological arguments) is to distort the discussion/ twist what the actual debate is about. Otherwise your masters would never even get close to winning an election ever again. I know FAR more than you ever will about ALL of this stuff, skippy.

      • MikeInMaine

There is no-one more intolerant than the radical liberal idiots amongst us – like you. Just because you “struck first” with your bullsh!t comment doesn’t make it true, you moron. I can list innumerable in tolerances of you wing-nuts towards those of us who simply aren’t as freaky as you moon-bats – and agree that the sky is falling or the earth is flat and so forth. See how that works, you mental midget loon?

    • Mike G

the creep needs to be impeached

  • mrcricketmba

    Just stop buying their products

    • Drawer22

      Done!

    • doormouse

Dove is owned by Unilever which also owns the brands shown below. Why just stop with Dove? I’d guess that Unilever had to approve the ad.

      • Juan TwoTree

Thanks….am printing it off and saving it……I’ll be throwing away my Skippy peanue butter I just bought..won’t trust the contents now…I’m sure Bruce Jenner will get a huge salary to endorse Unilever.

      • Juan TwoTree

Damn…and my jar of Mayo……it is Best but on the label it says Made By Hellman’s….it’s in the trash already!!

      • peanut butter

Thanks for the list. I only spot three.

      • KayO

Thanks for the info. Was just about to look up the parent company. I see several brands that I purchase on a regular basis…until now.

      • VirgoVince

Fortunately, I use only 1 of the above listed products, but I can learn to live without it!
I find store brands and lesser known brands every bit as good and more often, less expensive!
Don’t count on too much of a boycott, most people don’t care, too many brain damaged liberals!

        • Dita Logos

Honestly, I am sincerely coming ti believe that there aren’t enough “liberals” to keep these companies in business. MOST of us are not going out marching, we aren’t signing petitions, we are not making grand announcements. We just wont buy from these people anymore. I quit Target, will always buy Blue Plate Mayo –unless they brake face too, closed accounts at Wells, and will not be buying Dove anymore.
Mcdonald’s had a gay commercial in France and I quit them years ago now look. Wells Fargo lost the 76ers arena, lost 6 brokers who managed 1 BIlLION dollars for them, and the online wall street journal reported that Wells Fargo bank execs have been selling more of their stock than all 3 other major banks COMBINED—but you wont see that on the news. I had to dig for that myself.
I see God working. His wrath is hot now. These things are coming to an end because the reaping is more swift.

        • m brown

I would rather hang out with loving gay dads any day over you hateful bigots. The whole bunch of you are nothing but hypocrites . What a bunch of losers.

          • horseradish

You’re the hateful bigot. Such tolerance

      • paulette barrow

        WOW THIS SUCKS

      • Dita Logos

Knorr Pasta Sides!? Aw man…In a minute, the mom and pop grocery stores and other small business are going to have a niche. We also just decided to stop going to Walmart with all the gay support they’ve been giving of late.

    • Juan TwoTree

You bet Mrcricketmba……no more Dial products for me or my family!

      • marlene

Add Chobani for their naked lesbians ads on TV

    • marlene

Include Chobani for their naked lesbians ad on prime time tv.

      • Juan TwoTree

Ye, read that article and saw the ad ….sickening…..

      • cab

        Thanks WILL DO!

    • Jarhead

And advise all your friends, relatives, in-laws, out-laws to do the same.

    • larry harvey

The problem is if you stop buying their products, there will soon be few products left to buy.

      • Blakely1

That’s foolish. There is always a wise person who will produce similar products.

        • Bak1920

A wise person wouldn’t be homophobic.

      • mrcricketmba

        Larry,
is the dove line the only line if products, and if they stop selling, retailor will replace them with some one else product line or some new competitor.

        • larry harvey

Businesses are becoming less homophobic. What will you do when there will be no more homophobic soap companies?

          • mrcricketmba

They are? can you support your allegation with written proof?
Nothing what will you do if their are more, have more opportunities and places to buy the products that many conservative Republicans, or individuals that do not wish to contribute to their bottom line.
Larry what do you care if people don’t want to buy these Dove Family of products, will it hurt your bottom line, or will it keep you from buying these products, or are your feelings hurt because we don’t believe in their anti none gay life style.
I really don’t care what lifestyle you or any one else wants to live, that is their choice, but don’t ask me to patronize the way they live because I ‘ll live my life the way I, while you or anyone else live theirs the way they want.

          • MikeInMaine

You must be a retarded liberal (excuse me, everyone else – for the redundancy). It’s not “homophobia” (that is a manufactured term which is a misnomer), but NORMAL… to reject the sin, AND/ OR the mental disorder, you idiot.

          • Wingedgodd3ss

            Make my own

          • Dita Logos

            Lol!

          • Dita Logos

Nope, companies will get a clue particularly those whose products cater to families, you know, folks with kids. It’s alot easier for traditional families to reproduce since they all come with 2 people with the necessary parts. There are only so many times 2 men can pay for a surrogate or 2 women a sperm donor—which is why gays want the government to pay for those things under “healthcare.”

Homosexuals so not have a long life span are often under employed. PLUS, they make up 1.6 percent of America. Polls keep coming up telling us how people have changed but they keep getting it wrong. The end for this is coming and it will start when the Supreme Court kicks this gay marriage back to the states and the states with bans from the VOTERS will remain in place. Did a ditch, you will fall in it.

          • larry harvey

Dita–Companies, which include gay managers, gay stockholders and gay customers, have learned that bigotry is not good business. Many gay families include adopted children and some can be large.
Dita you do not want to believe the polls because you don’t like their results. With homophobia in retreat, conditions for gays are and will continue to improve. More and more gays and lesbians are coming out openly, especially the rich and famous. In about a week SCOTUS will make its decision on gay marriage. Almost certainly it will favor freedom to marry which will make SSM legal in all states and end the issue. Of course the fight against discrimination and bigotry will continue.

          • Dita Logos

“Homophobia” is not in “retreat” otherwise you all would see no reason to continue to “fight” against discrimination and mass exclusion.
The Civil Rights era for Blacks in this country ended in the late 60’s early 70’s and it is extremely obvious that racism is still alive and very well today. Since Blacks STILL experience racism, discrimination, segregated schools, under employment, disproportionately high poverty levels, mass killings in recent years due to color…it impossible for homosexuality to be an acceptable norm for Americans and their families at any point in time– ever.
Homosexuality never will grow. The acceptance of it will not either. There is too much sickness within it to thrive and produce more of its population. Historically, the numbers of gays has always been 1% and below. Today, with the inclusion of “bisexual” it’s still around 1.6% and I even question that.

          • Gene Hull

Be careful with your statistics Dita Logos. The percentage of the population that is gay has long been debated. Even the “experts” today don’t agree and the honest ones will admit they don’t know.

          • Dita Logos

Regardless of which study anyone sites, the number of homosexuals in America rarely quantifies above the rate of 1.6%.

The premature homosexual death rate is much higher than the rest of the population. This much may be verified by secular institutes such as the cdc . That is definitive.

There is also the fact that blood banks still have a ban upon the giving of blood by men who have sex with men. The lifelong ban has only been altered by a one year ban which still requires that gay and bisexual men have not had msm sex for at least ONE year.
Therefore, statistically, any gay man is more likely to die before a married, heterosexual, faithful woman. That would be me…

          • larry harvey

Dita–Homophobia is in retreat. We know this from the results of public opinion polls, the fire storm of protest against hostile gay enactments such as in Indiana, the softening of anti-gay statements from many right wing politicians, and the spread of same sex marriage. I agree though that anti-gay bigotry, like racial bigotry can never be totally wiped out.
The exact percentage of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people is well above 1.6%. As people become more open concerning their sexual orientation, more of them will identify themselves as GLBT individuals.
“Sickness” is another stereotype pinned on gays by the ignorant and the homophobic. For 50 years now the scientific and medical communities know that being gay is no more a sickness than being left handed or having brown eyes. Homosexuality is found throughout nature. Tens of millions of humans are GLBT. Some of the most famous and productive people in history were gay. I will name just a few Alan Turing (He broke the Nazi code helping to win the war and was also known as the father of the modern computer); Alexander the Great (conquer of the known world had a gay lover); Aristotle and Plato; Michelangelo; Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein (giants in music); Walt Whitman and Oscar Wilde. If I had time and space I could add a 100 or more people.

          • Dita Logos

TENS of millions of LGBT? Hyperbolic much? Don’t forget, even us posters live lives outside of the internet. The reality of your numbers can be seen in real life. Life isn’t tv.
Oscar Wilde was a pedophile so I question your “wisdom” in using him. His words describing the his pedophilia were recorded.
As for the “firestorm” in Indiana. You had what less than a dozen single politicians, some large business owners, and the gays. Meh. The basketball conference was well attended and people supported them.
The mass support of Chick Fil A nationwide was not long ago. That business is STILL expanding. Wells Fargo has lost much as well. Christians don’t do a lot of political proselytizing. We just do what we are going to do.
You are about to find out just how little support gays have and how few businesses will profit for supporting the wrong group.

      • Oscar Pearson

Not really – plenty to chose from!

    • h m rowland

The agenda is personal rights. LBGT agenda…lmfao Live and let live is the agenda. LGBT agenda…lmao! Equal rights for all is the agenda. Sounds like America is growing up to me. The TV has bombarded us for 60 years with breeders and I never thought there was and agenda just fear of the unknown….its time to allow breeders and non breeders share the air waves. Get use to it this will only become more and more the norm. I think I will buy 14 Chobani this week instead of 7 and remind those around me to do the same They deserve it for showing the couple in the next trailer, apartment or house next door in a random American town.

      • mrcricketmba

Lets just God sort it out, He knows best.

        • h m rowland

God is an ‘it’ not a ‘he’. Energy has no gender.

          • mrcricketmba

You have the right to your opinion, and I have faith in mine.

          • h m rowland

Just sayin’….its not a he. There is no man in a chair in the north pole with a long white beard checking to see if we are naughty or nice. God is an energy that keeps balance in the universe, when there is a void the universal energy rushes to fill it…same as when there is a need it is always met by God. There must be balance in the universe by natural law….karma…what you send out, comes back. I guess if you like that image of a dude and it works for you that’s great and all that matters. We can call it whatever we want as long as we have the understanding to accompany it. Peace

Let the gays buy Dove. When the rest of us (the majority) refuse to buy their product, they will become bankrupt.

  • Swann75

In addition to this country going to hell in a hand basket, this country will also be knows as the “queer” states of America. This country would be much better if they all stayed in the closet.

  • Rick Vitti

  • ERB

I don’t buy dove and never will! Force them out of business, don’t buy there crap, it’s full of things you don’t want on your body anyway.

  • The Fox

Two men can’t produce a child to be called a father in any way, this is pure evil in your face by people who love money more then truth, two women can’t produce a child and need plastic item to pretend to be men when having sex, no man has ever had a butt baby or coughed one up, so this is nothing but a immoral way to have sex and God says it is wrong and He is always right.

    • CMY

Thank you, well written… |God Bless you.

    • bhndr

Of course a person that is gay can indeed have a child. That is simply the biological reality. Homosexuality doesn’t equate to sterility or impotence. NOR is attraction and affection required for procreation. Making a child means that you love the child, not necessarily the vessel. AND then of course there is also IVF as well as adoption. Being an adoptive parent still makes you a parent. Its always so very fun to watch people pretend they have any point to make when they talk about the sterility of homosexual men/women when they are not sterile at all..
Biology 101 is a class that you guys obviously missed taking in high school.

      • The Fox

Can you read I never implied what you just said, I said two men can not produce a child nor two women, that is a fact of life, now a homosexual male can produce a child with a women, and a women can conceive with a male, they shouldn’t be allowed to adopt the child needs a mother and a father not two homosexual immoral nut jobs period. Learn how to read before you come off with your biology 101, wow!!!

        • larry harvey

Loving and committed gays and lesbians make wonderful parents. There are millions of one parent or dysfunctional straight families.

          • The Fox

That is BS right from hell, nobody is dysfunctional they are sinners who rebel against God and His ways and want to do things their way and not Gods way, have by Gods Grace lead homosexuals to the Lord and seen their lives changed when they did. Everyone in this world is a sinner and sin leads to death one way or the other, two homosexuals can’t give the child real love because they don’t know what real love is, they think having sex their way is love when all it is, is sick sex. Get a moral life.

          • Gene Hull

HEY !!! GREAT POST THERE FOX
It is a fine example of how an imbecile can bring hate down to his
            fellow Christians.

By the way, do you engage in oral sex?
If you do, then you’re a sodomite.

            Do you masturbate?
If you do, the Bible says you should be put to death.

Do you ever fail to observe the Sabbath?
            Death again !

Ever curse your father or his mother?
            Well—you know; death again.

I gotta tell you Dude: That Bible is one dangerous book.
(Actually the real danger is in the retards who believe it.)

          • The Fox

You are one dangerous hater, so you must be a sick homosexual as they throw that word around like it meant something, have a good week end immoral homosexual.

and when your ADOPTED children go to school they can tell the class and the teacher “I have two daddy’s, or two mommies” I wonder if the other kids will be jealous since they only have one of each??

          • The Fox

You need to learn to read before commenting? I never said homosexual males couldn’t have sex with a women or a women with a man, where do you get this stuff? Your so lost in your stupid comments, quit adding to what I didn’t say. No homosexuals don’t have a right to be parents and why it happens is strange to me since they already have special right’s for the way they choose to have sex but can never replace a man and women adoption. Lets see, I’ll bet your also pro choice? Homosexuality is the not the answer to children having a mother and father, and there are many family that would adopt them if the rules by SS wasn’t so against the real reason for marriage, I don’t need you to correct what I said and add to it, that is dumb, stupid and blind on your part, you must be a homosexual to take your views as you state. I never said I condemn the children that is your imagination at work again, your one sick person but, your idea’s and opinions will get you judged some day for your ill gotten comments. Bye nut job. This comment was to bhndr: not to you larry.

          • MikeInMaine

On #2; So friggin’ what, larry the loon? Did you have a point??? On #1; Gay people are ordinarily quite twisted mentally, so it is only your ignorant opinion that gay people make “wonderful” parents. – And you are welcome to it, and to CHOOSE what you will do in YOUR life regarding this situation. But YOU do not/ will not dictate to me what I will CHOOSE to do in me and my family’s lives. I would never allow a gay person to be a mentor in any way to my kids. And if you don’t like it you can suck it. That is just the way it is, jimmy-bob. No “hatred” here. It’s just my belief system. And that’s a FACT. And the big picture here??? Is that you cannot STAND this. You people REFUSE to LET US BE!!! Yet you cannot catch on to the HYPOCRISY in this!!

          • Gene Hull

Your hate is squeezing you dry my friend.
Do you fail to recognize the hypocrisy between what you write here and what is preached in the bible of which you are so fond?

        • Mike G

Fox you told the A- hole off ..lol he is below bio 101

        • bhndr

          The Fox-
I read you loud and clear. The point is that who said that a gay man cannot have sex with a woman? Who claimed that a gay woman could not have sex with a man? If the purpose is to get pregnant, to procreate, sexual intercourse is completely possible and HIGHLY probable!
One doesn’t NEED to be attracted to the partner to get pregnant, one doesn’t NEED to love the other parent at all. AND in truth, there is not even the requirement that there be sex at all. merely go and get IVF. The assumption that homosexuality is a dead end because there can never be procreation assumes that there is never going to be procreation and as many assumptions it is complete HOGWASH and myth. Just because I can’t get my partner pregnant is not a rationale for then assuming that our relationship is a dead end.
As for adoption, the gay parent has as much rights to adoption as heterosexual parents and they are scientifically proven to be as good at the job. What is more, by prohibiting such adoptions, the ONLY ones harmed are the children themselves. So pat yourself on the back for sacrificing THOSANDS of children to a life of misery and abuse just so you can feel better about your hetero-supremacy fantasy-world.
IN FACT ask the children themselves if they would rather have gay parents or NO parents and guess what? They want to have gay parents rather than none. So simply congratulate yourself for allowing your irrationality to create harm for thousands of innocent children that are throwaways as far as you are concerned.
READ??? Yes I read, it is you that doesn’t understand the full implications of what they are saying. IF you had, then maybe you wouldn’t be so quick to condemn the children out of your own selfishness and irrational hatreds.

      • Juan TwoTree

Right bhndr, right…..what we DID learn is that you are 100 times more likely to get AIDS than if you were not queer. Now THAT’S Biology 101 !! Don’t try and sell it any other way….HIV is ZHIV and you catch AIDS from homosexual anal sex, then deep throating, then ditry sanchezing…..

LOLOLOLOLOLJuan obviously doesn’t know his facts concerning the issue of HIV/AIDS. For example, what orientation is responsible for over 80 % of all HIV/AIDS transmissions? IF YOU SAID HETEROSEXUALS you would be correct! Don’t like that fact? TOUGH!!! The reality is that for the entire length of this particular disease heterosexuals have made up the majority of those infected and are responsible for 80% of the entire HIV/AIDS transmissions GLOBALLY!

          1) HIV is unquestionably transmitted through heterosexual intercourse. Indeed, heterosexual intercourse is now responsible for 70-80% of all HIV transmissions worldwide.
          http://www.aidstruth.org/denialism/misuse/padian

          2) http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5531a1.htm
“Sub-Saharan Africa. Approximately 10% of the world population lives in sub-Saharan Africa, but the region is home to approximately 64% of the world population living with HIV (2). Transmission is primarily through heterosexual contact,…”
” Approximately 80% of HIV infections in India are acquired heterosexually.”
“Like sub-Saharan Africa, HIV transmission in the Caribbean is largely heterosexual.”
*** NOW if you only want to focus on a single nation like America then you might have some cause to claim that HIV is a homosexually transmitted illness most of the time but in fact the rate of heterosexual transmission in America is ALSO ON THE RISE! So indeed you really have no factual basis for your statement that gays are responsible for HIV or that you are 100 times more likely to get it by being “queer”. TIME you educate yourself on the FACTS and not believe every little piece of propaganda you hear. But of course since you are so very IGNORANT of the issue of HIV/AIDS, its causes and the modes of transmission you are the type that is more likely to contract the illness yourself and that is indeed a shame because if you had only educated yourself instead of spending sop much time buying into the hetero-supremacy myth, you might have avoided getting ill yourself and then spreading it to your own social circle.

          • MikeInMaine

Good GAWD, you’re retarded. The reason that the majority of people who have caught the aids disease is because heterosexuals outnumber gays by like 97 to 3, you phukking IDIOT. And a sh!t-ton of human beings have unprotected sex, and with many partners!! Many people, gay or straight, are horny, and getting a nut off, you moronic douchebag. Gays have had sex with people of both genders – even though they prefer their own!! And this spreads the disease to heterosexuals!! Holy SHIT, you’re about as intelligent as a friggin’ shovel.

          • Juan TwoTree

The world thanks you, Mr. Einstein!! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Good post bhndr. Here is at least one totally straight guy that agrees with you. (I have worked a lot with AIDs caregivers in past years. I got into that as the result of being a Hospice volunteer.)

Unfortunately I fear your intelligent words will fall on mostly deaf ears. I think most of these folks have renounced reason, logic and critical thinking in favor of their “faith”. I’ve had very little success trying to reason with people who only respond with Bible quotes.

        • larry harvey

Worldwide over 90% of AIDS cases do not involve gays. Before infecting one, the bug does not determine one’s sexual orientation. The overwhelming number of gays do NOT have AIDS.

      • Estoban

Homosexuals are not sterile, they are just a dead end mutation that does nothing to further our species, while, due to their diseased life style, they are a decided detriment to the species.

        • larry harvey

          Estoban-You write nonsense.

          • Mike G

the truth bothers you guys, keep on pushing your life style and agenda on others, and some cooks will come out and do nasty things and send you back to the closet again,
BTW, I’m not one of the cooks

          • larry harvey

Mike–No one is pushing their life style on others. The agenda you mention is an agenda seeking equality and justice.

          • MikeInMaine

No it is NOT. Just as with quotas for blacks, your masters demand EXTRA “equality” and “justice”. It has destroyed real equality and justice time and time again in the world’s history. Just as with socialism; it has NEVER worked, even one time throughout ALL time. We conservatives want every human being to be equal/ to have equal access to anything and everything. And you DO have that access, no matter your sexual persuasion. BUT that isn’t good enough for the radical activists. Don’t get me started, you moron. I can list dozens of instances where liberals attempt this. BUT, as Estoban said; you are a troll. BTW, you nut-bag; anyone who trolls a community where you disagree with 99% of their beliefs – just to argue against them, when you weren’t even invited (not that you aren’t welcome), is the VERY definition of a sick mind. The reason that I can say this with confidence of accuracy is that I just saw your first comment about seven minutes ago, and noticed INSTANTLY that you were belittling and name-calling us for our beliefs – INSTEAD of trying to have a DECENT conversation/ debate with respect!!!! You fruit-bats do it on every single conservative blog site!! It is a sickness that is a natural proclivity for you intolerant weirdos!! But you cannot even recognize it!! Just as the topic of this discussion!! — You aren’t very good at this debate thingy, larry-bob.

          • Americans Wake Up

They are not seeking equality. They already have that under the Constitution. They have the same rights as everyone else. They want special rights and treatment. They want their sick, deviate ,immoral lifestyle to be at the forefront of everything and everyone.

            Hi Larry,

Just a quick note to say I totally agree with what I have read from you. By the way, I’m totally straight for whatever that matters.

I think I’ll not get into a debate with these folks since it appears their minds are thoroughly set due to their “faith” in the bible. One cannot reason with such folks because they have forsaken reason, logic critical thinking in favor of their “faith”. It’s a shame really.

          • Estoban

            You’re a troll, smh.

        • bhndr

Except of course they do advance the society as well as the species. If they did not, then the trait of homosexuality would have bred out as is the case with ANY trait that no longer serves a beneficial purpose to the species. This is the entire point that lies behind the laws of natural selection. Nature will select for the traits that most successfully benefit the whole. AND yet homosexuality still remains quite evident. Every single generation and every single species of animal, many birds, a lot of the fish and even some insects are showing that homosexuality is a trait.
And so the entire rant about “diseased life style” is nothing but the expression of your own ignorance and hatred. There is nothing diseased about being homosexual. It is as healthy as is heterosexuality. It is also as natural and as normal as is heterosexuality. It is also not a dead end because as we have already proven, homosexuals can and do procreate. procreation is not relevant to the issue of sexual orientation since it is not about who you sleep with but about who you need to fulfill your needs, who can best meet those needs and who are you going to be most compatible with in forming a lasting bond. ANYONE can have a child, it doesn’t require that I like you or be attracted to you, I just need to get you pregnant and that is all, I can then live my life with the person that I am REALLY attracted to, that I am most able to relate with, and with whom I can form longterm, stable, loving bonds.
Of course mo0st persons have sex with the people that are compatible with their orientation but to assume that this MUST be the case is ignorance., As a gay man myself, I have bedded three women. It was fun, we both had a great time but were they relationship material? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. We are still friends to this day and relive our memories of those days and those times with a warm and happy remembrance but I and they are glad that I moved on to better commitments as did they.

          • MikeInMaine

There are no traits that were “bred out” of our species, you retarded douche-nozzle tool. Obviously, you believe in a theory proposed by a knucklehead; which has never been proven in any way, shape, nor form. You “think” that macro evolution exists, yet you have ZERO evidence of it. Darwin was either a moron, or he smoked up some killer green bud or some kick-ass tree bark fibers down there in the Galapagos Islands before he conjured up that demented hooey over divergent beak shapes of varied bird species. He was too stupid to grasp that there was never any evolutionary process which changed the birds’ physical aspects, but that they ALWAYS existed. God had a helluva good time painting thousands of portraits in living creatures’ features, you snarky little retarded monkey boy. You have your head so far up your own ass that you can’t fathom 1/10th the things which you proclaim to know. But you surely do attempt to denigrate anyone who doesn’t believe in your stupid rubbish as being less intelligent, or having missed something. How to be the pot calling the kettle black, you a$$clown ignorant, uneducated fool.

          • Gene Hull

MY, MY. You are one eloquent SOB MikeIn.

You’re clearly not a candidate for a debate since you have rejected any critical thought, logic, or rational reasoning in favor of your
            ill-conceived faith in your Bible.

I will simply state that you are wrong. Traits have been bred out of
species, and new species have evolved from their preceding members. I expect citing examples and providing relevant research on the subject would be futile. No doubt you would reject it “out of hand” in favor of your “faith”.

I hope you have “evolved” beyond the Bible’s teaching that the
world is flat; is the center of the universe; that the sun, moon &
stars all revolve around the earth, and that in the “end days”
all of the stars will fall to the earth. Got that far yet?

          • Estoban

The Center for Disease Control publishes that the 2% homosexual male population in the US accounts for 63% of ALL new HIV infections and it rises to 70% when bisexuals are added. This high rate has stayed at the top for 30 years after the CDC gave the simple ways to avoid spreading HIV. Homosexuals totally ignore any attempt to avoid spreading disease. That’s a very slow learning curve, bhndr. CDC also puts homosexuals high up on other STDS as well as being higher in drug addiction, depression and alcoholism. Homosexuals have a life expectancy 10 to 15 years shorter than normal people as well. You really should get counseling to help your mental delusions. As far as homosexuals keeping our species going, you’ll find that over thousands of years of the human race being decimated by wars, pestilence, famines and natural disasters, the homosexuals have been missing in action to replenish the lost human lives. It is the normal family unit of man, woman and their children that have continued to provide continued replacements and the furthering of civilization. And, by the way, you’re not a gay man. You are a bisexual man, one of that small group that has spread AIDS from the homosexual male population to the normal population, bringing that disease to babies in the womb.

        • Gene Hull

How do you feel about the detriment of someone sprouting hatred?
Have you suffered some irreparable damage by the homosexuals you so detest?

          • Estoban

I assume you’re not from the US. We have a God given right to free speech here, even when it’s offensive. Any irreparable damage by homosexuals to my family is private and none of your business. My original statement stands.

          • Gene Hull

And you’re choosing to use that freedom to spread lies and hatred about
            those with whom you disagree?

            ———————-Whata noble undertaking Estoban!——————
            ——————————Godmust be proud——————————–

“Private and none of my business”?
Are you stupid enough to believe people will accept that excuse
out of fear for answering a question?

          • Estoban

No lies. Homosexuals are not sterile. Truth. they are just a dead end mutation that does nothing to further our species – truth. due to their diseased life style, they are a decided detriment to the species. Truth. Do you realize that 30 years ago the Center for Disease Control issued simple instructions to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS? For 30 years male homosexuals have ignored those simple instruction and consistently won the blue ribbon for most new HIV infections. Latest figure shows that the 2% population of homosexual males accounts for 63% of ALL new HIV infections and rises to 70% when bisexuals are added. They also head up the list for other STDs and have higher rates of addiction, alcoholism, depression and a number of diseases related to sodomy.

Are you stupid enough to believe I care whether people or you accept my exercise of privacy. I could care less!

A gay couple cannot create a child. They can adopt but procreation is only possible by heterosexual couples.

    • beowulf32
    • larry harvey

Fox-Many gays and lesbians have biological children through surrogates. But really that is not the point. A loving family with children can consist of children raised by those who are not their biological parents.

      • The Fox

Homosexuality isn’t about love it’s about how people decide to find pleasure and God says it is a abomination and I agree with Him and not those who try to say they were born that way as that is a lie, or they are saying God is a homosexual and that isn’t a good way to go I assure you. A child should be raise by a husband and wife and not two immoral people who call sex love. Homosexuality is a choice period and immoral in every way and there will be a price to pay for calling God a liar.

        • larry harvey

I am gay and have been with my lover now for 46 years. I have travelled with him all over the world and the two of us have shared life’s ups and downs.. We are deeply devoted to one another and neither cannot imagine living without the other. We know other gay couples who also have been together for decades. Believe me sex plays a very minor role in our love equation. Homophobes know very little about gays other than their nonsensical stereotypes. Ignorance is the constant companion of bigotry.

          • The Fox

You aren’t gay, no such thing, your a homosexual who loves your evil way of having sex period. Well you can believe what you want but don’t put your immoral life style in my face, you have a friend ship and evil sex and that is immoral as a person can get. Homophobes doesn’t exist in the dictionary, your made up name for those who disagree with your chosen life style, your the nonsensical stereotype, and your ignorance show’s and your a bigot against those who have normal sex.

          • larry harvey

Fox–I have nothing against heterosexuals since my parents and all of my relatives were in that group. Your intense and irrational hatred for individuals whom you do not know, blinds you from seeing reality or from any pretense of objectivity. An old Chinese proverb goes like this:
“He who knows not and knows he knows not,
            He is simple teach him.
He who know not and knows not that he does not know,
He is a fool, shun him.”

          • The Fox

I don’t hate homosexuals, that is a pure irrational comment from you, if I hated homosexuals I’d tell them not to read Romans chapter 1 in the Bible and that would be pure hate for sure because it addresses this immoral life style. I used to get propositioned every night on the way home from school grew up around what is called the homosexual community in my town and know them and their evil ways well friend seems your a judge calling evil good and good evil, wow, take your own advice and obey your proverb yourself sir.

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

Larry, I’m sure Fox is sincere and does not hate homosexuals. He loves the person but hates the sin. I know that you have heard this before, but most people do not care what consenting adults do in private. We do not want to see a life style promoted, that doesn’t enhance the procreation of mankind. Those with a religious calling are concerned for the souls of others and believe their duty is to enlighten those who do not share their faith. I admire the man and wish I was as sure of the hereafter, as he is. I hope he prays for me. Forty-six years with the same life-partner is definitely a committed relationship. Be well & be kind!

          • larry harvey

Frederick-Thank you for your kind words. On the question of procreation, I had an aunt and uncle who were together for 51 years. The were devoted to each other. My uncle finally died and my aunt died only 5 weeks later. She saw no point in going on without him. The point is they had a wonderful life together which God blessed but never had children. Should their type of relationship be discouraged because there was no procreation? The answer has to be no.
Marriage is more than procreation. It is for two people (of any gender) who are in love and committed to one another..

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

I do understand your metaphor, but ask you to consider society’s role. I do not personally agree that condoning or rejecting anyone’s right to marry anyone else is a proper function of our federal government. Society is heavily influenced by traditions that enhance their continued existence and I understand that loving relationships exist between same sex individuals, but that is not a human race pro-survival relationship that a society would want children to be taught was “normal”, or a desired life style to follow. I have no problem with your relationship, but I do not want my government to endorse it with it’s official sanction, or stamp of approval. That would encourage young people to experiment and I do not believe that is a healthy path to tread. That which we approve has a way of expanding. I want a lot of grand children, as do most of us, out here in the land of the great unwashed. Best wishes, to you & yours. FR

Fox–You are loaded with stereotypes and misconceptions. As I have stated in earlier postings, there are gay couples who have been together for decades and who are deeply love one another. Sex plays no greater role in their relationship than is the case with straight couples. Gay couples who are deeply committed to one another are not committing “sin”. Love is not sin, love is wonderful. More and more churches see this and are open and accepting of gays. Christ’s message was one of love and inclusion. Your message and those of your ilk is one of hate and exclusion. You have lost

          • The Fox

Sorry bud I call evil what it is, and if that is a stereotype then so be it, I don’t care if they were together for one day or a hundred years it is a immoral life style and unnatural sex period. BS, I grew up around a ton of homosexuals and know they prey on children and anyone else that will go for their insane life style, Christ didn’t say go along to get a long, He called sin, sin period. God says it is a abomination and I agree with Him at all times, as a evangelist in a taxi for 20 years by the grace of God was able to lead some homosexuals to Christ and they changed and didn’t live that life style any more, know a man who was a homosexual and a lady that was a lesbian and both came to Christ and now married and have children and minister to the homosexuals community when ever possible. Judging is not about telling someone they are sinning or not, it is to say you know the heart and know they aren’t saved, as 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 says “Do ye not know the saints (Born Again Believers) shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more the things pertain to this life”. Shoots down your judge not least you be judged idea, I judge according to what God said not what idiot people want to pull off. God loves homosexuals and I love homosexuals or I wouldn’t tell them the truth about what they are doing it takes love to take your abuse and theirs and if I keep my mouth shut that shows hate and don’t care if they go to hell. Wake up.

    • Artemis

      Amen to that!

    • Fredrick Neal Rehders

I do not believe homosexuals should be allowed to adopt, because I do not believe that lifestyle is worthy of immolation, however… If you believe The Bible, G-d gave us The Ten Commandments, via Moses and everything else came from Prophets and Deciples of Jesus, all of whom were men of flesh and blood and whose writings were translated and edited an untold number of times. I struggle mightily with issues of faith, but what we know and can prove tells us that homosexuals cannot reproduce normally, although some were fathers, prior to discovering their nature, or choice if you will. It doesn’t change what society wants children to be taught, from early on.

      • The Fox

Fredrick, the prophets and the Deciples of Jesus were Holy Spirit filled and if not and they didn’t speak for God they were to be stoned if what they said didn’t come true. The Holy Spirit inspired the writer’s of the Bible it wasn’t there idea’s but those of God. Those who translated the KJV couldn’t bring notes into the room, they had original transcripts from the time of Jesus and it is the best version of the Bible there is, I have taught from it for years and read in hundreds of times and have never found one contradiction anywhere and it is impossible for 44 men to write 66 books and never contradict each other. Those fathers who left children for their lust weren’t born that way, nobody is born homosexual unless they believe God is a homosexual as He created us in His image and He don’t make mistakes, homosexuality is a chosen life style and a abomination to God.

        • Fredrick Neal Rehders

I wrote what I wrote to avoid entangling arguments, regarding theology. The point was… The basics of life on Planet Earth, requires procreation of the specie, thus we celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. ‘Nuff said! Why would our society pander to groups that have nothing to do with procreation? To be PC and sell their products.
You are obviously a devout Christian and I honestly wish I could claim the same… I really do! We know that one of Jesus’ Deciples betrayed him. We are told that Jesus said that he had not come to change the Torah, or Word of G-d, but to fulfill it. The Rite of Circumcision was changed, in order to more easily recruit followers, from amongst the Gentiles, Romans and pagans. The 623 Dietary Laws were changed, from the Bible to The New Testament. Personally, I have problems with virgin birth, and a number of other things that are accepted on faith and not self-evident or provable. Yes, I understand that a G-d, that could create the universe and all we know about it is powerful enough to do many more things, that are beyond our understanding. But look around, how many denominations of Christianity are there? What about Judaism? The so-called Religion of Islam? Others? It was simple until I learned to read. Best regards, Fox.

          • The Fox

Where to start? Torah is the first 5 books of the Bible written by Moses, anyone who isn’t Circumcised isn’t a Jew period and notice a lot of people want to outlaw it. Jesus fulfilled the law because no man could by the way the law wasn’t until Moses yet Abraham obeyed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness and he had no ten commandments or the laws, he did what God told him to do and those are what is meant by doing His commandments. If Jesus was born of a man, he would have been a sinner as sin is passed on by the man to man or women at birth. Jesus was God come in the flesh and was the perfect sacrifice for sin, had to be perfect and all humans are born in sin and sin by choice. Jesus didn’t start religions of any type, He came to die for sinners who would believe in Him. Those who practice Judaism are blind to the truth, Islam is the religion of satan and a false prophet mohammad and nothing more and one of the most evil things satan has brought about. Hitler was a satanist, Haman was a satanist and want to wipe out all the Jews and got hung on his own gallows, there have been many anti-christ in the world and today more then can be counted as all who believe allah is god are anti-christ. Have a good week end and Shalom Fredrick:

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

We wandered a bit off track, there, Fox. My point was : Jesus came to fulfill the law, but the followers of Jesus changed The Law, in fundamental ways, as I have referenced, above. The Jewish Sabbath began at sundown, this evening and is a case in point. Shabat Shalom!

          • The Fox

Sorry about that and the rabbi’s did change the law to suit their own will and not the laws God gave them, if I were a practicing Jew I wouldn’t be here typing at this point but, as a Jew by birth and one who goes to church on Sunday I don’t tell anyone when to worship but have had some who judge my salvation because I don’t go to church on Saturday, sorry we got off track. When God told me to go to Europe I went and spend quite awhile there witnessing to people on trains, buses and in youth hostels all over Europe, it was a wonderful time and so I obeyed Gods command to me to go, the same for Israel and Egypt and most of the Far East and China, Central America, South America, Australia and New Zealand and have obeyed God and went to 6 continents and that is doing Gods commandments as ten never precedes commandments in the NT. Enjoy the week end and if you worship on Sabbath, have a good time worshiping the Lord Shabat Shalom, sorry for the misundrstanding. God Bless and Shalom:

Romans 10:17 says faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If you REALLY want faith, listen to an audio Bible. Biblegateway.com has a way where you can listen to the kjv I know for free and the Scorby Bible has an app.

When you pray, find a scripture that speaks about what you are praying for and read it aloud.

Talk to God aloud (alone) and wait and listen. You have to work your faith. You have to decide to believe just as you decide to get out of the bed. Christ said even a “mustard” size faith can achieve much.

Listen to scriptural parts that you have difficulty believing. You choose how many times. Then make a decision.

If you want faith, you can have it.

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

Obviously, faith is a very personal thing and it must come easier for some, than others. I have prayed, meditated and given much thought to the issues of faith, but as stated above, I believe in a Supreme Being, and there is an order to the universe that isn’t explained with a theory of a “BIG BANG”! I can see and observe that mankind desperately needs something larger than their own short life experience, to cling to. I can see that our creator gave us free will, but I am not convinced that our omnipotent Creator, actually gets involved in our every day mundane activities. I feel truly blessed to have been born in the USA, and blessed tenfold to have been born a Texan, into family of Texans. I am truly thankful for my blessings. I am growing older and I have not found any real answers. I choose to do what is right, and try not to encourage evil, but I do not believe that is enough to justify the blessings in my life. I’m still searching. Thank you for your post, Dita!

          • Dita Logos

            Mark 9:23
…Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief!
Those were the words of a father who asked Jesus to heal his son. Even though he lacked the belief he thought he should have, Jesus still healed the father’s son.
I know how it is to want and need more faith. Every Christian has something that they need more faith in. I pray every morning through scripture and psalms. I wake in the morning sure to do it because it gives me peace and confidence through my day. HOWEVER, I also know the days when I, for no clear reason, don’t feel like praying. I don’t feeeel like sitting in there. I don’t feel like reading scriptures. I will feel badly and guilty about it and then go and tell God that I don’t feel like being there. I speak plainly to Him because it isn’t as if I could hide the emotion. I push through it though. I tell Him that I’m sorry about it and ask Him to help me get past it. He always does. Somehow.
In time like those, when we don’t have anywhere to pull strength from, we have the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Indweller. We need His residing inside of us because it is flat out exhausting to do well on our own.
In sincerity, I have faith that YOU will have the faith that you want to have. Time is a good teacher. Age is a blessing. You have had the benefit of both. I have prayed for you and I will continue to do pray for you until Jesus tells me to stop.
Every sincere Christian feels that they must be more and be further than where they are.
            Even the apostle Paul wrote,
Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
            Philippians 3:12
As long as you keep pressing, you have the hope of arriving where you want to be.

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

Thank you, Dita! I find your words very encouraging. I did not get on this site to discuss religion, but this discussion has brought your words of faith and kindness to me and I do appreciate that. I will follow your suggestions and continue to seek faith. Best regards!

          • Gene Hull

Of course you can have faith if you want it Dita. All that is required is to forfeit critical reasoning, intellectual debate, science, logic and anything else that may conflict with Bible dogma.

        • Gene Hull

          AHHHH
SO !!! it was God’s idea that the Bible should teach:

          The earth is flat.
The earth is the center of the universe.
The sun, moon an stars rotate around the earth.
The firmament is a rigid structure (like a shield) located above
the earth. It separates the earth from the water above. It is
supported by mountains and pillars on the earth. The stars are
lights in the surface of the firmament. The stars will all fall to
the earth in the final days.
(The stars will fall to earth—REALLY?)
The sun, moon an stars are all located within the firmament
God created man, earth, stars (everything) about six thousand years ago.
Science is all wrong about the age of the universe and the earth.
          There is no evolution.
God will answer all of your sincere prayers and provide you with anything
          for which you ask. (Guaranteed!)

And, the following persons should be put to death?:

Those who fail to observe the Sabbath
          Homosexuals
          Those who practice Adultery
          Those who practice masturbation
Anyone who curses his father or his mother
          Those who commit apostasy.
Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest
who represents the LORD your God must be put to death.

“The Christian resolve to find the world evil and ugly, has made the world
          evil and ugly.”—―Friedrich Nietzsche

          • The Fox

You sure write a lot to say nothing, the Bible says the earth as a orb is hung in the universe, but you wouldn’t know that unlearned one, get a brain for your empty skull I can hear it crying give me a brain, I’m lonely. Learn the Bible before showing how stupid you are.

          • Gene Hull

You claim to know the bible? Are any of the things I said no in the Bible?

          • The Fox

No they aren’t and that is fact jack. You wouldn’t get to the first grade with you lack of Bible knowledge.

          • Gene Hull

OK Fox; will you deny this too?

            FLAT EARTH:
Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF
THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Job 38:13 That it might take hold of the ENDS OF THE EARTH, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ENDS OF THE EARTH, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Daniel 4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the ENDS OF ALL THE EARTH:

            Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

            NOTE:
Astronomical bodies are spherical, and you cannot see the entire exterior surface from any place. The kingdoms of Egypt, China, Greece, Crete, sections of Asia Minor, India, Maya (in Mexico), Carthage (North Africa), Rome (Italy), Korea, and other settlements from these kingdoms of the world were widely distributed.

THE EARTH IS THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE.
In the biblical view of the cosmos, the earth, sun, moon, and stars are not what we know them to be. According to the Bible, God created the earth before he created the sun, moon, and stars, and he will destroy
the whole cosmos in the last days when he judges the earth and its inhabitants. In that context, the earth is central to the biblical cosmos.

Moreover, according to the Bible the earth is a flat immovable disk supported by pillars. There is not one single passage in the Bible indicating the earth is a sphere, and there are numerous passages indicating the
earth is flat. In Isaiah 40:22, the Hebrew word translated as “circle” in reference to the earth, means “circle”
(i.e., a disk in the biblical context) not “sphere.”

THE SUN, MOON AN STARS ROTATE AROUND THE EARTH.
Sam 2:8, Ps 75:2, Ps 96:10, and many others–clearly indicate that the earth is set on pillars and does not move. These passages are not taken out of context, and there are no passages whatsoever indicating otherwise.

The medieval Catholic Church maintained that the Bible taught geocentricity (i.e., that the Sun and planets revolve around the Earth) as opposed to what we now know as the Copernican idea of heliocentricity

Chronicles 16:30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

            NOTE:
According to the Bible, the sun was created AFTER photosynthetic plants. Ask a bible scholar why and you got all kinds of crazy responses. Who knows what the Bible is really saying. Another reason why I think people who follow it are scary.

            FIRMAMENT IS A RIGID STRUCTURE
Job 37:18: “Can you beat out the vault of the skies, as he does, hard as a mirror of cast metal?) that holds back the waters above the heaven, and the stars are just lights set in the firmament and will fall to the earth in the last days.
————————————–(Stars will fall to the earth? REALY???)————————————————–

            ABOUT CREATION, EVOLUTION AND PRAYER
I expect I’d get no argument from you that those subjects are in the Bible.

AS TO WHO THE BIBLE SAYS SHOULD BE PUT TO DEATH
I would expect you would acknowledge that’s what is written.

The Bible would also have us believe that pelycosaurs, archosaurs, and therapsids (the so-called “mammal-like reptiles”) that preceded the dinosaurs, the dinosaurs and man all inhabited the earth at the same time. I don’t know what is supposed to have happened to them. I’ve hear no mention of them being on the ark.

The ark !!!! There are actually people who believe that story !!!!
INCREDIBLE !!!! But then those same folks also believe that science is all wrong and that the earth and the universe is only about 6 thousand years old.

          • The Fox

I won’t read you long diatribes as you don’t have a clue, to start with Isaiah 11:12 isn’t talking about a flat earth, it means in Hebrew from everywhere in the world to use four corners to mean a flat earth just show your lack of Biblical knowledge. I won’t waste my time with the rest of your out of context idea’s, you don’t know God and you surely don’t know His Holy Word, Bye.

          • Gene Hull

HEY !! Good copout Fox. Much like most born agains. (Just don’t respond.)

          • The Fox

No copout at all Gene, I’ll answer you when you quit distorting the Bible to fit you evil agenda, I don’t play your kid games, nut job christian hater.

          • Dita Logos

Four corners of the earth, East, West, North, South.
Ends of the earth would be where the heavens and the earth are split there are scriptures about those. I mean, if you don’t believe it, obviously that is fine but YOUR conclusions in no way void scriptures.
Many people speak about how violent Christians are but we aren’t the ones killing people. Religions have hospitals, how many atheist hospitals are there? Are there a greater number of atheist charities than Christian ones? Do atheist or secular feeding programs outnumber those of Christian based? Is the biblical way of approaching sex more or less healthy than sexual promiscuity? Is an open mind better than a made up one? A mind that can be changed by the popularity of an idea? Let us reason well together. State the reality of Christian behaviors today.

          • Gene Hull

I guess you’ll have to quote that verse to me Fox.
The word ‘orb” is not in the bible (at least the King James version)

Also, perhaps you could interpret the following verses for me.
My reading is that they guarantee you will receive that for which you pray if you pray sincerely. I cannot imagine ANYONE who would believe that!

            Is Jesus a lair?

            1) And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you,
if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was
done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. “And all things you ask
in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)

            2) Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock
and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 NAB)

            3) Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about
anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. (Matthew 18:19-20 NAS)

            4) Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted
up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but
believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him.
Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that
you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25 NAB)

            5) And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will
find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-13 NAB)

            6) And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 NAB)

            7) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for
whatever you want and it will be done for you. (John 15:7 NAB)

            8) It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. (John 15:16 NAB)

            9) On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen,
amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. (John
            16:23-24

Jesus is not saying that God will think about your prayers. He says God will grant all your prayers. (Clearly, God does NOT grant all prayers.) Can you explain that?

          • The Fox

Like most people that don’t have the Holy Spirit you can’t discern Gods Word it is foolishness to you, I’m not your slave so ask God to show you His truth and ask Jesus (Savior) Christ (Messiah) to come into your life and guide you, as He paid the price of your sin debt to a Holy God, If not your just lost and blind and seems you read anything that says Bible on the cover to make you wise in your own mind, your a egoist with too much time on your hands and I’m not buying your ill gotten wisdom which can’t know or understand the thing of God because you aren’t of His children, take you long diatribes and take a long walk off a short pier. Bye.

          • Gene Hull

Hey Fox– I apologize for asking you for such a difficult task of
defending those Bible verses. Too daunting, huh?

But to just turn you back on a conflict and walk away? You didn’t learn
than in the Marine Corps did you?

            Semper Fi

          • The Fox

Your ego isn’t worth my time and that is a fact your ego will cry over. Bye and I am always faithful.

This from a guy who undoubtedly believes in the religion of man-caused global warming.

          • Gene Hull

Is that the best you can do?
Yes, I agree with what nearly all the scientist say about man contributing to global warming.

          • CherokeeDan

Christians have their religion, you have yours.

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

I find arrogant, pontificating, bearded blowhards to be evil and ugly. —— Fredrick Rehders

          • Gene Hull

Not a very Christian thing to say to your fellow man Fred. I’m simply
trying to clarify what the Bible teaches.

Would you prefer I quote Bible verses along with that?
Perhaps that would help clear up any confusion.

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

I never claimed to be a Christian kinda guy, Brother Hullhead. I readily admit that I am “faith challenged” and wish I had a firmer grip on what my personal journey will evolve to be. I yearn for that which others seem so comfortable with. I pray, not for material things, but a deeper understanding and give thanks for the blessings in my life. You seem to be so sure that anything you do not understand, just doesn’t exist. I remember being amazed at the first TV I ever saw, and my grandparents were amazed at aviation. We take these things for granted, now… but they, too were mysteries to a vast number of folks. A lot of things existed, prior to our knowledge of them. You want to feel superior and poke fun at those who have faith, but what good does it really do for you? Naw! I don’t want any fries with that, either.

          • Gene Hull

            Good post Fred,
But I fear you misread me. When I attempt to explain my beliefs to
someone I start off saying that if we take all the knowledge
accumulated by all of mankind throughout history and compare that
with what there is to be known, we know very close to nothing. I
believe that to be true for science, physics, philosophy and
            religion.

I was an engineer and a scientist. Even those things with which we
have a high level of confidence and accept as scientific facts are,
or should be, accepted with some degree of skepticism. Too many
times scientific “facts” have been proven to fall short of because of a more fundamental truth.

I treat religion in a similar way. I do not believe in “absolute”
truths. I believe it is a fundamental error to forgo critical
examination and reasoning, science and logic in order to have a
strong “faith”. Faith is defined as belief that is not based on
proof. Nor is it based on sound reasoning. And for most Christians
I believe it is unacceptable (almost a sin) to question the accuracy
            of the Bible.

            But, I find some fundamental errors in the Bible. It teaches things like;
the earth is flat, the center of the universe, the sun moon and stars
rotate around the earth, and the stars are simply lights stuck onto
the firmament and will all fall to earth in the end days.

I also find Christian views on morality (for instance same sex marriage
and LGBT folks) to be dogmatic, hateful, and extremely harmful. They
derive these hateful opinions from their reading of the bible. They
are dogmatic. They refuse debate or sound reasoning, always
defending their hatred on the Bible. Their arguments are nearly
always in the form of a quotation of Bible verse. I consider their
views to be harmful, hateful and immoral.

That’s why I try to point out flaws, stupid beliefs, contradictions and lies
            in the Bible.

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

I can agree with some of what you said, but not much. I’ve read a lot of Ayn Rand, who is an atheist, but a champion of absolutes. I readily admit that I am faith challenged, but I am not an atheist and I believe the teachings of Jesus to be excellent rules to live by. We can see good and evil all around us. Our actions are either good for us (pro-survival), or bad for us(anti-survival) and as a scientist & engineer, I am sure you will agree that nothing is static and equal only exists in mathematics as a workable theory. Your need to quantify is useful only when properly applied. Making value judgments for others and admonishing their belief system does not endear you or us to others and only serves to inflate our own egos. Pointing out flaws in the emotional justifications of others probably requires an illumination of the presenters credentials, and some amount of trust, in addition to a well articulated presentation, to be effective. Stated mockingly and off-topic in a blog post probably does naught to encourage rational thought processes. You do seem more rational, when you congratulate me. (<; FR

          • Gene Hull

HA ,HA, HA, HA, HA ,HA, HA, HA, HA ,HA, HA, HA,
“You do seem more rational, when you congratulate me.”
            I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!

          • Fredrick Neal Rehders

Well, if I fall short in making a point, I am always glad to amuse. Have yourself a Hull-of-a good time, Sport!

    • Gene Hull

No wonder there’s so many of you! You’re obviously unaware of the fact that anal six is what produces born again Christians.

      • The Fox

In your ear creates left wing immoral nut jobs like you.

    • Gene Hull

I feel obliged to break a truth to you Fox that you apparently don’t
know. Not everyone shares your view of the bible. In addition to
being wrong, you are rude, insulting and a negative reflection on
      your avowed religion.

You spew your vile contempt on those with whom you disagree, but lack the
knowledge and courage to defend your own beliefs.

      • The Fox

Oh not so, you just write a lot things to show how smart you are, but, when it comes to the Bible I assure you I know more then you do, as you don’t have the Holy Spirit and I don’t practice religion of any type but, have a relationship with my Savior. When People come off as all knowing like you do and show no respect you will get the same in return, you can disagree with me but it’s really not me your insulting but God Himself. I don’t have to prove anything to you sir and your ego wouldn’t believe what I said anyhow, Bye.

        • Gene Hull

No, I did not write a lot of things Fox. I quoted a number of Bible verses to illustrate how stupid it can be.

          • The Fox

A lot of so called scriptures out of corrupt Bibles

          • Gene Hull

Corrupt Bibles? Those quotes are from the King James Bible.
Didn’t you say you taught from that Bible?
            You didn’t recognize them?

          • The Fox

In one comment to me you had the Bible’s listed by what they are called like the ASV and others.

          • Gene Hull

Yea, I did; but I was not quoting from them–only noting that they said the same thing.
So, are you going to respond to those quotes?

          • The Fox

Most don’t say the same thing, I know, have studied each one, so that just isn’t true and spent to much time feeding your over sized ego, Bye.

          • Gene Hull

Perhaps you should just pray Fox. REMEMBER:

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will
            do it. (John 14:13-14)

            Hey Dude—you just can’t lose !!

          • The Fox

I do pray everyday and some days more then others.

          • Gene Hull

How’s that working out for you? Is it helping to resolve your hate and anger issues?

          • The Fox

Well self made god man I’m not angry or hateful, just because I hurt your over sized ego and works out for me very well sir.

          • Gene Hull

            Good! Glad to hear it.
Perhaps your prayers will provide you with an acceptable response to bible verses I asked you about.

          • The Fox

No matter if I answer or not you won’t change and that makes it a waste of time and your ego isn’t worth my time.

          • Gene Hull

Thinking isn’t your strong suit, is it?

They say opposites attract. I’ll bet your
wife is good-looking, intelligent, and cultured.

    NO longer using Dove Products.

  • I have to use Dove soap because its the only one thats hypoallergenic that I know. Will have to use it till I find something else.

    • AnnaLee Sellars

That’s what I used to believe also. But my Dermatologist only recommends CERA VE it is a liquid face cleanser. They have different ones for different skin types; oily dry etc. My dermatologist could have recommended any product to me, but his patients have had the best results w/this. I KNOW I HAVE. The very best part is that it sells at WAL-MART 🙂 and it is INEXPENSIVE!!!!! Once I began using it (and the moisture lotion) I have never looked back 🙂 Hope this helps hon <3

    • Sharon Jeanguenat

Try Ivory soap. And, some of the make up companies have hypoallergenic soaps, or face washes that are too.

Got to have a Mother to have a father – ain’t gonna happen with just two fathers. If the homosexuals get their way, families will cease to exist. At least normal families at any rate! NOTHING normal about homosexual relations.

Dove just lost another customer. That’s all right though, they can sell the perfumed soap to all those gay dads out there – I feel sorry for those poor offspring of those gay dads who’ll see that sick lifestyle as acceptable.

    • eagle keeper

Very bad business decision. Never used Dove products, don’t plan on starting. The rump rangers can have all the dove products. How many of you know two dads that gave birth to an asshole baby? That is exactly why the left has to import their voting block. They are systematically aborting future voters, and supporting the sick perverted lgbt lifestyle.

    • Mike G

Stiles, be careful those last 3 words, may cause Larry to look you up, and hide the soap. lol

    • larry harvey

Cummings your hate and bigotry know no bounds. But at least you are an equal opportunity bigot. You hate not only gays but also blacks and those of a different religion. I am not sure that Dove would even want your type as customers.

Darn! I like Dove’s products for men, but after seeing this, no more!

    • AnnaLee Sellars

I don’t know if the “Mens” products have different ingredients than the womens but my Dermatologist recommended that I use CERA VE facial cleanser and lotion. It’s the best I have ever used and results are wonderful. It doesn’t have fragrance added. It’s sold at WAL-MART and very inexpensive. You should have him give it a try. I’m so happy I took my Dr.’s advice <3

Dive has a right to make that decision just as we have the right to disagree. Their bottom line must be strong because they’re going to take a heck of a hit from consumers, like me, who refuse to purchase any more of their products. We have a voice also and we will be heard.

  • Branwen

Would appreciate advertising waiting until the National advertisers keeping their personal agendas and beliefs personal. Advertising should regarding a bar of soap should be able to reach the entire media. With such advertising, it is increasingly difficult for parent’s to leave their children’s television viewing un-monitored for a single moment. Young children question when media reveals too much of any content that is not yet understood by (especially) young developing minds. Science tells us their is an age appropriate time for such matter to be revealed to children depending on their personal development. For media to flood households with these pervasive materials forces parents to set aside any other needs to censure their children’s media to protect the children. It is far easier and better these days to simply turn off the television or remove it completely from the home.

A household long using Dove will now likely end such use permanently; preferring (lesser skin quality for) higher choices protecting the family while supporting businesses who do likewise.

  • Did Dove invent the drop the soap game in the shower rooms?

  • ProudUSAVet

I have bought my last bar of Dove products. Two years ago I stopped shopping at Home Depot for their support of LGBT activities. Now I shop at Lowe’s and they also give a 10% discount to veterans with proper ID.

  • RichFromShowMe

Eventually the LGBT&Q community will figure out that men cannot birth humans and the Democrats will figure out they are aborting potential Democrats . . . . until then, they’re overrunning our Republic with illegal immigrants, while our House and senate sit on their few remaining brain cells.

  • bhndr

Its about time that the truth be advertised, that same sex parented households are every bit as capable and worthy as any other. Those that would try to decry this advertising are simply showing their hate for anything not white, male and old.
A gay father is still a father like it or not. That person deserves recognition and BRAVO to the Dove company for their stance.
The bigots that are rampant here are going to hate that but unfortunately for them, they are a dying breed, their days are numbered and its ABOUT TIME! Society is recognizing the essential and fundamental truth that homosexual people are simply people, no better, no worse that any other. Sexual orientations are no longer grounds for the hate and segregation that once was. This is a return to he NORMAL social structures that were destroyed by the Church back in the Roman Empire.
Homosexuals have enjoyed acceptance in the majority of social civilizations and that is simply the way things are… Time to get used to it.

No worries, everyone I know goes out of their respective way not to patronize companies who advocate such deviant behavior. One can say all they want and be vociferous and holler and demand and buy off legislators and judges but the fact still remains, it is an abomination, an aberration and certainly deviant. And less than 2% of the population has to be coddled and allowed to do every despicable act they want. Incredible how quickly and fast this great nation has fallen and following the path of all crumbling empires.

What a touching ad. I love it. All the young men look so excited. They have no idea what they are in for. It’s all about love, anticipation, and mostly hope. Way to go Dove!

Since best estimates are that between 5 and 15% of the population is gay, the quick inclusion of one gay couple out of 13 dads seems pretty fair and inclusive. It seems a bit obsessive to get hung up on one gay couple and ignore the rest of a great ad.

The phrase “this otherwise ‘clean’ ad” implies that the inclusion of a gay couple makes the ad somehow “dirty”. This article seems designed to focus on the part of the ad that will make homophobic readers uncomfortable, and to promote hate-mongering.

Gay people live among us. They are our friends, neighbors, and family members. If you think that you do not know any gay people, it is because the gay people you know do not trust you enough to be honest with you. Probably for good reason.

I know plenty of good parents who happen to be gay. They are doing a terrific job. Their kids are happy and healthy, love them, and wouldn’t trade them for anyone else.
It’s time to focus on the positive. The amazingly wonderful things that ALL parents do for their kids. If you want to hate someone, or swear at them, focus on the murderers. There are plenty of them out there. Let’s work on some REAL problems instead of hating people for whom they love.

Wow, what’s with the bigotry & hate? It’s a Father’s Day ad; are you that isolated that you didn’t know Gay couples have children? You’re being extremely prejudiced & what gives you the right to judge anyone? Kudos to ALL fathers who take responsibility for their children & who want to take an active part in their kid’s lives. Go hate the men who disappear and don’t support their own kids. You sure turned a beautiful sentiment into something perverted and ugly. Welcome to diversity and individualism. You should ashamed of yourselves for trying to retaliate against LGBT rights and the company that has such a great record of acceptance & multiculturalism. Live & let live.

For my entire married life of 59 years, my wife and I, and our children have always bought Dove Soap. It is still our favorite – but after seeing
this deplorable advertisement for Dove soap, we will NEVER buy it again. The video was heartwarming, well presented and a wonderful way to
recognize and to promote Fathers Day – wonderful up to the point in which the two homosexual men were hugging. To the vast majority of the
American public, homosexuality is immoral, sinful, abnormal, and disgusting, and it will NEVER be accepted. Which one of homosexual men was
supposed to be the “father”? And through what miraculous process will they go through “to have a baby”? It would also seem that the Marketing
staff where the Dove soap is produced would conduct a market study to determine the effect on customers. You might win over the tiny minority
of homosexuals, but you will lose a far greater number of normal people who are disgusted with the homosexual lifestyle. I would encourage all
normal people who read these comments to permanently remove DOVE SOAP from your shopping list.

I do not hate people, but I do hate some of the things they do. Male homosexuals insert their penis’s into another males ass and go in and out and in and out until they ejaculate their semen deep within the anus of the other man that they are screwing…or…they suck and lick on each others penis’s until they ejaculate their semen into each others mouths , upon which they either swallow it or spit it out. This makes them worthy of being called a “father?” Right?

  • reagangs

Gay and lesbo couples don’t have natural kids, unless they first naturally had them before their radical transformation or they were adopted from natural parernts. It’s a natural thing that gay or lesbo couples can’t propagate the species, naturally. That’s why they are un-natural. Just try to envision two, or more, gay guys “going at it”. Repulsive at least, un-natural bestiality at worst. The AIDS era took care of most of them, naturally. There’s not much we Earthly good guys can do, but let the Final Judgment do its duty.

  • K Shockley

Mike in Maine, you’re a very narrow minded bigot and homosexuals are not deviant nor are they mentally ill. I know many Conservatives that are Gay, it is not exclusive to liberals as you implied. It is not a sin, it is simply a lifestyle. No idea why all this makes you so angry. I am a conservative, heterosexual female, but I don’t feel arrogant enough to think that I have the right to judge anyone else. You certainly have the right to boycott whatever you wish, but your reasons are very anachronistic and vengeful. It’s ludicrous that the name of this site is Liberty, but it seems like a lot of you only believe in Liberty for people who think the same narrow minded way that you do. I thought tis country was about “Liberty and justice for all”. Perhaps we should all reflect on that and the Golden Rule instead of turning this into a HATE forum about LGBT. Happy Father’s Day to ALL of you Dads out there!

I hear the detractors scream about morals. But when I was traveling a bunch on business I witnessed the majority of men who would seek out female companionship for the night. THAT’S what I consider immoral! I’ve seen way too many “good Christians” in church fawn all over each other, only to go home or to a bar and bad mouth them unmercifully. I consider THAT immoral.

Please–don’t quote from the Bible to me. I’d feel a need to point out a few of the numerous absurdities and lies in that book.

Don’t throw it away. .. Take it back to the store & get your money back. Unsatisfactory product. Let them know why . Make them pay. No more Dove and Unilever products for me. I’ll make my own mayo and spaghetti sauce.

To each their own, But a company should not promote this kind of stuff. If you are gay no body wants to know or care. I don’t go tell every one I like women because I am a man, so why do gays want to go tell every one. And I won’t go by there product because of this, Let the gays go buy it and watch there company go out of business.

No more dove for my family and I will be passing on to others to stop supporting evil!

  • The signs of the end times are everywhere….

As we witness such things as the spread of globalism, the building of a one-world church, the increase of wickedness, the breakdown of the traditional family, the destruction of that priceless bastion of liberty called America, the normalization of homosexuality, the callous murder of babies, the filthy pop culture, the breathtaking increase in governmental surveillance, we become fearful, uncertain, frustrated, angry, and discouraged, but this is because our minds and hearts are too focused on things of this world rather than things above. Too often we have the same short view that “conservative” unbelievers have rather than the long view that comes from the light of Bible prophecy…

The devil is the god of this world, and his handiwork is evident everywhere, but he is not God and he is not in control of the times and the seasons.

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding” (Dan. 2:20-21).

We should stand in the confidence that the present evil is exceedingly temporary and will soon be cut down.

Well we won’t be buying them anymore. We are a large family and we are still growing. We were buying them by the case. Seriously.

Isolating Christians is very stupid particularly since there are more true families that actually BUY stuff like this.

One would think they would learn from JC Penny, Target, Wells Fargo…Chick -Fil- A GREW and profited for standing up for biblical values. NO gay supporting business had the sustained increase it has enjoyed.
